Net City CP extra button wiring

So I have a couple of questions for you guys.
1. Does anyone know what the 15 pin amp up connector that I circled is for?
2. the smaller ones are for extra buttons correct? but I read they are supposed to be 10 pin and the ones pictured are only 8 pin. Does anyone know where I can get an extra button loom made for this? since my sega type 1 i/o doesn't have a spot to plug in a kick harness.

Hey mvgs!

I was wondering the same thing a couple months ago as I have the same layout on my new net city..and I couldn't find anything about it on the internet.

I tried my chance by poking with wires and buttons... if memory serves, this is what I had in the test menu :
- 1st row is like button 4, 5 , 6 , nothing, Ground for player 1
- 2nd row same but for player 2
- 3rd row : doesn't seem to do anything
(don't remember the exact order...from left to right or right to left)

from what i can tell from the wire diagram the top 2 12 pins are 1 & 2 player digital while below is them is analog.
The one circle i "think" is a combo extra buttons and output plug. as seen connected is a cable to connect a normal 10 pin connector for extra buttons

Edit: if you look on the I/O board you will have a jumper to switch button 6789 to outputs instead

@mangofreak thx it does seem to be wired for extra kick buttons right now
