Net City JVS IO or control panel issue

I’ve never seen this happen until now but my Net City control panel would just bug out or not become responsive at all after playing a few games of cvs2. I would need to reboot the game and it would work again. Why would this happen? It’s not just the joysticks become unresponsive, I can’t even access the test menu from the front panel. The test buttons don’t even work.

Motherboard loses connection with IO.

Could be an issue with the motherboard, the JVS cable or the IO. I would swap parts one at a time.
