Hey Team. Clin_ here from New Zealand. Grew up in Arcades in the late 80's and always had my eye on things as far as technology, cabinets and preservation goes. Wanted to build a cabinet for a very long time but I've never been much of a builder. Can't measure to save my life.
Recently, purely by chance I saw a local listing for a Weche OK Baby candy cab that was "not working". Figured I could put a PC in it and replace the old controls with decent Sanwa parts. Turns out it was an MVS with a Z80 error, even the CRT appears to be fine. The board isn't in great shape, but I'm going to have a crack.
So now I have BIOS chips and battery holders on the water, a soldering station and a multimeter with a lot of new skills to learn. I'm not sure I won't kill this board but you have to start somewhere right.
