I'll get pics if there's any interest, but just throwing this out there for now:

I got myself a project Red Tent a while back for pretty cheap with the intent to fix it up for when @brizzo (who at the time I knew only as Nazerine) teased his multi board for it. I have since realized that despite my adoration of the NES I have no real nostalgia for the red tent, I have no love for projects, I have no room to put it in my main arcade, and I want to cut down on some of my hoard anyway.

I got it cheap because it had vertical collapse on 1 monitor and the metal was crushed in on the corners of that side. Since I got it, I got the corners pounded out (they're not perfect, but they're damn good) and had that side re-powder coated red, as well as the control panel on that side re-powder coated black. I also got the vertical collapse fixed. They're not burn free, but they're pretty good. I still have all the original buttons (that it came with - 1 was missing) as well as a set of new ones from Mike's Arcade. Have the 4 sticks it came with plus 2 refurbs I got from... someone on KLOV. Have 2 new marquee holder plexis from someone on KLOV (plus the original ones). Put all new Takigen locks in (they were drilled when I got them) and have like 4 keys I think? Bought new bezels from someone on KLOV. One possibly bad part: board worked when I got it (Gradius and Golf) but when I went to swap Golf out for a repro Dr Mario daughter card I stupidly installed the CPU or PPU (can't remember which) backwards so I'm not 100% sure that everything's working right now.

I haven't put it back together after getting the one side pounded out and powder coated, and frankly I don't want to, but all the parts are there. Could be a good project for someone who's more patient and handy than I am. Or it could sit in my office for a few more months until I get bored enough to actually reassemble it.

$500 and it's yours. Located in Rochester NY. If there's interest, I'll get pics.

Edit: Sold on KLOV a few months back.
