Agreed, but I don’t get it. I’ve noticed some people doing similar things with rare/expensive Neo Geo stuff lately as well.

I think it’s either one of two things; baiting people into a bidding war with a popular item (and then seller pulls the rug if it doesn’t hit a price they want) and/or complete oversight on pre-researching scarcity/what people are willing to pay for some of these rarer items these days.

At least Cave boards can be considered legitimately “rare” these days and can justify the former. I can’t hate as I fully support a free market dictated by what people are willing to pay for stuff.
