You have no idea the amount of work behind to support Q-sound, maybe people are just getting used to it and nothing is impressing anymore.

The Q-sound support is no small feat for sure, and this is why @Darksoft is the man/no other CPS1 multi supports it (or likely ever will).
Now if only we had FPGA replacement for that A-board custom, it would be basically future proof.
