My favourite arcade game of all time, unfortunately not in my collection (although I have the controls sitting somewhere).

Hi :

I have a nice outrun turbo. Which means no you have to modify it back to outrun.
Depends if you want to trade, but due to the cost I paid. It would need to be a good trade sorry.

I totally understand. Prices have risen by so much over the past decade...
But converting it to Out Run is a pain unless you can find an OG rom kit with mask ROMs.
Those 28 pin 1Mb mask ROMs can't be replaced by any EPROMs without a mess of adapters.

I read you, however when sold on eBay as an outrun. The getting it as a turbo and still paying $400 us and the shipping?? Grrr.
You get a little deterred on who is being screwed without the screw.

What kind of cabinet do you have (upright, sitdown)?

I knew it!

It's more hip (hoard in progress)

I've been lucky enough to get my hands on the OG controls for an upright cabinet so I'm more than halfway there I guess.

No I have a plan. But like all good plans, some take time to implement.
Mine is a little more around the excessive happiness route.
Well hopefully my plan comes to fruition. If not then the hoard as you speak will be sold for hopefully cost price. Weather permitting.
When I get closer to the destination we will see.

If I were you I'd try to find an Out Run cabinet. 99% of the time they come with the PCB (sometimes faulty but as you already own a working Turbo you could simply swap ROMs).

There's also two jumpers that need to be moved around on both boards, but still, easy enough!
