Outrun 2 twin volume wiring

Hi all,

Again this OR2 twin cab I have missing big chunks of the loom and at the moment I have no sound I assume this is because the volume controls in the coin box are not wired up. So it's just a matter of wiring the pot up to the correct place. Having a look through the wiring diagrams they don't make a great deal of sense to me as they either show a 3 pin or 6 pin plug for it (I can't work it out) or perhaps it's just showing me only 3 pins are used, however the socket I think it's 4 pin.

Am I ok just doing a straight pin to pin cable for this 1 to 1, 2 to 2 etc?

Ok after a bit more digging the schematic shows the pot wired up to 1-3 on the cn2 connector in the amp. However, the only pins populated 456 and 789. 456 I think for the speaker and 789 for the sub which has a volume pot but doesn't seem to be present and the amp isn't jumpered for it. I tried shorting lines 7-8 thinking this would be like having the pot on loudest setting and nothing. Also wired up the 4 pin straight through and nothing, the pot deffo goes to the 4 pin connector on the coin box just need to see if the 4 pin connector goes to 789 on cn2 and it doesn't seem to.
