What's a fair price for a good condition clean Neo 29 in the US? thanks.

Depends on where you live. Add your location and people can give you a better idea.

If your talking about the one in Houston that some guy is asking 1500$ for, with some speakers, some ikea stools, and a cab that's been gutted, and had a chinese jamma harness and a cheapo switcher psu put in it......He's over friggin priced. :D

I've actually got a friend asking me about that one, in the condition it's in I told him it's not worth it.

Thanks guys. I'm not sure what is a fair price for a candy cab in the houston area. I like the iidea of a neo 29 but an astro cab would be nice too.

I live in DFW...I have some candies.....heres what I paid.

Astro city (missing monitor, front door, and back cover, and harness), and Megalo 410 with dead projection chassis = 600
OK baby - complete but not working - 125
Super Neo 29 - missing front door, header insert, coin return bezel, control panel hinge, and monitor - 150$
Tekken 5 (stand/sit american cab) - 375 (practically stole this.....had an operator going OOB, and had to have it gone)
Atomiswave SD - complete, working, no keys, very clean -800 (picked up in Houston)

I'm not saying you are gonna get those prices....cause I buy almost all my stuff rough, and then either make parts (doors, plexi's, CPs, harnesses) or hunt em down...and I have like 9 27" monitors in the garage....so swapping in isnt hard, except on the AWSD. (Tekken 5 is flat tube, but could swap bezels and make a curved tube, or LCD the whole thing without much trouble. )
I also have a pretty extensive network of folks up here, who know I hunt them, and look out for me.

I have had options on the following locally as well
Sega Versus city (dual cabinet) - 1600 (Houston)
Namco Excellena w/namco classics board -900
Egret 29 in very rough shape - 400
OK Baby (sprayed black, 25" monitor and 60n1) 1000
and I know there is at least one Cyberlead locally, as well as a few other NAC's, and several Aero's in both Dallas and Austin.

I asked the guy on Facebook with the Neo 29 what he would do for the cab without the speakers/amp, stools, and pcb....and he said 1200$
So thats 1200$ for a relatively hard to find (only one I've seen in Texas) cab...with original working monitor...missing art up top, a hacked jamma harness, and most likely a dead or missing original PSU.
He got very defensive when I suggested that was a bit high...and stated that he was 800$ in the whole thing (dont know if that included the pcb/speakers/stools), and that anything less than 1200 would just be cheating himself.

He's perfectly welcome to ask whatever he wants, and if he gets it...awesome....but I would never pay that. I'd probably be in at 5-600, being the only one ive seen, and accounting for how bad the poor thing had been hacked up. Cab was in very pretty shape....so it did have that going for it.

Honestly hope that any of this helps at all.

I can tell you that Imran Acosta with Arcades4Home(Austin) should have a couple working Aeros right now, for sale...and that he's always treated me fairly. He does run a retail location, but I believe he's had those Aero's for a bit...so I'm not sure where he has them priced. If he's already sold them, and an Aero suits your needs, give me a pm, and I know a couple people that have one or two aero's in a storage unit. They run a business doing restores from home, but I can put you in touch with them at least.

Best of luck in your hunt, and if I can be of any other help at all, please feel free to shout my way.
