OK folks....so my friend bought out a warehouse recently, and we came across some pretty cool stuff, but a lot i haven't seen prices for...so I could use a hand from everyone.

THIS IS NOT A SALES THREAD, AT THIS TIME! PLEASE DON"T HAMMER ME WITH "DIBS" OR OFFERS .

Ok...heres the list.

Fire Shark - Toaplan

Dragon Breed - Irem (M81)

Xevious 3D/G - Namco

Raystom - Taito

Darius G - Taito (also has Japanese Roms)

JJ Squawkers - Korean

Risky Challenge/Gussun Oyoyo - Irem M97

Tenkomori Shooting Variety - Namco

Sky Fox - Nichibitsu

Armed Formation Nichibitsu

Pyros -Taito/Toaplan

Saint Dragon - Jaleco

LED Storm / Mad Gear - Capcom

Sega Mega Drive arcade board w/Sonic 2 cart.

There were a couple other jewels, but those have been priced.

Any help here, would be amazing, and as always, thank you very much!

You can find most of them as sold listings on eBay.

JJ Squawkers is possibly the most valuable of the bunch. A genuine JPN board goes for 2k on Yahoo Japan. Hopefully your board looks somewhat like it and not super bootleggy.

Congrats on the haul.

never heard of most of them. if any are JAMMA and cheap, LMK I wanna build a shmup cab and I have 3 shmup boards for it already. strikers1945, twin tiger?, and something else iunno. Ive always liked the genre I just suck at them :)

Any pics of the JJ board?

Fire Shark and Dragon Breed are ~$500+/- boards, Pyros AKA Wardner around $200 same with Saint Dragon (Going off YAJ for this one)

I just picked up a Tenkomori Shooting for about $85 on YAJ, so I'm guessing the $100-$150 range would be fair, State-side.

Guys, thanks so much for the advice, and information.
I had no idea about the JJ Squawkers, but sadly, mine is a bootleg, that looks like this...

How much do those go for, out of curiosity?

Also, any help on the Nichibitsu stuff?

If anything goes up for sale, I'll be sure to point at the thread thats made...right now my friend is just revelling in picking up a really nice shmup collection for a song.

Sky Fox aka Exerizer is hard to say. Fairly rare, but I'd say probably $125-175. Armed Formation F, I can't tell you the last time I saw one sell. So I'd say at least a few hundred on that one. Been looking for it forever but just see bootlegs. Should probably just get the PC Engine version and call it a day.

Hi :
Bagheera, yes i believe yours is a diagom bootleg called simpson junior. Made several years later. There are actually three types of this game jj simpson the one you have which is really a hack from the information i have seen about, a conversion of the original hardware and a as the attached picture shows the original hardware. The conversion pcb is almost identical to the picture provided except there is no seperate rom pcb. ( chevk second attachment)
The jj simpson bootleg i have seen sold for around $300 us dollar recently. In the usa. Thats your board. Can anyone confirm an actual value currently of the bootleg please.
The secondary picture is of the conversion hardware.

Check this link this is what you have :

Hi :

Also if it is not too off topic any idea what a conversion of the original hardware is worth. Same pcb just no rom board. Check second attachment above please.

Thanks boss.

The Armed Formation F, is definitely legit Nichibitsu...but has a damaged sound amp, it would seem. We need to get it fixed, before we can even play it...but its nice to know their is a good port on PCE.

Just a heads up...mine definitely does come up as JJSquawkers, when you boot the game....not JJSimpsons
Hi :

Oh really. I have both of those pcb’s and a bootleg pcb like yours.
I was informed the bootleg had simpson junior startup. The board is identical. Hmm?
I have not powered up mine yet. Mabey there are more than one type of bootleg rom sets with different title screens on the bootleg. My research was not 100 % accurate on the bootlegs. But would make sense.
Sorry on the misinformation on my part.
Hopefully the sonic 2 board is a prototype not a conversion. If so would you share pictures of it?
