I thought I'd document here a little problem that I encountered on my IGS PGM board. I looked for it on the search engine but I didn't seem to find anything about it.
The symptom: the board wont get passed Test mode, or will take a lot of tries.
Solution: there is a pullup resistor on the test line right next to the JAMMA. It's a 10k ohm one, should be way out of spec.
That fixed my problem, now it boots up correctly. Kudos to Mr. @Tailsnic Retroworks for pointing me out in the right direction!
