On one side of my cyber cycle twin I have a problem .
The picture trembles a little bit . This leads to that letters are not really readable anymore.

I am sure it is the monitor because I connected the right side pcb for testing purposes to the left monitor and the problem stays the same . So it is not the pcb.

Anyway the problem is not existing when I power up the cabinet from cold . After some minutes it starts to tremble . Slowly and worse worse , an then it stays in its final trembling state.

When I turn off and immediately turn on again it trembles. When I turn off an wait a few minutes it starts up fine and after 2 minutes the tremble comes back .

So it’s obviously somehow connected to temperature , the tremble comes when it gets hotter.

Any suggestions ? I played around the monitor settings contrast brightness , screen, focus , frequency , no change.

Monitor end of life ?

Try to remove the power on the other monitor and see if the shaking (tremble!) persist when you start the game with only one monitor ?

Yes it does , tried that . It must have to do something with hear as it takes some minutes

With shaking I mean that the picture is moving up and down horizontally about 1-2 lines very fast

And when it starts it gradually gets worse over a few minutes until it hits its final stage

If degauss doesnt work to fix it, i would start with a cap kit

Can't fix your problem, but extremely jealous of your Cyber Cycles. Best sitdown motorcycle game ever imo

caps usually get better as they warm up,
your problem could be bad solder joints made worse by thermal expansion

Yeah … just how to find it ? Just spraying some contact spray on there in the back won’t help I guess

just taking the chassis out and looking for cracks and rings on the soldering with a good light
start with anything heavy or mounted to a heatsink

I’m far from a technical guy, so please take this with a pinch of salt.

Any chance the PSU or step down are near the chassis or monitor?

I picked up a cab with an internal step down that was causing screen wobble/tremble.

Removed it, and started using an external step down and the picture is now solid as a rock.

What model monitor is it? Can you post a picture of the back of the chassis? Once I know what the model is I can give you better advice.

You have a Hantarex Polo 25 inch monitor:

Cap Kit: https://www.arcadepartsandrepair.co.../hantarex-polo-monitor-cap-kit-105c-nichicon/
B+ Filter Caps (this chassis could have two, check first): https://www.arcadepartsandrepair.co...nichicon-105c-b-filter-capacitor-22mm-x-50mm/

Sometimes a bad or worn B+ Filter cap can cause jittering. I'd swap them with the cap kit.
If all else fails, swap the flyback. Inspect it for cracks as that can cause a failure soon if you see any. Replacement Flyback: https://www.arcadepartsandrepair.co...tor-flybacks/1242-5001-hantarex-polo-flyback/

Good Luck!

Listen to what Delarcade posted about the cap kit and also check your vertical
position potentiometer as it may be old and crusty not making good contact on its contacts internally. I had this issue with a game before and had to swap out the vertical scroll potentiometer with a new one, make sure you observe values on these potentiometers to what the monitor chassis spec sheet/manual calls for.

Ah, good point! Forgot to mention the vertical pots. I'd replace those first.

According to the Schematics:
V. Shift - RV403 (1k) https://www.arcadepartsandrepair.co...ters-pots/1k-ohm-trimmer-potentiometer-p1070/
V. Amp - RV402 (220k) https://www.arcadepartsandrepair.co...rs-pots/220k-ohm-trimmer-potentiometer-p1072/
V. Freq - V401 (4.7k) https://www.arcadepartsandrepair.co...rs-pots/4-7k-ohm-trimmer-potentiometer-p1071/

Also, here's a good resource on the Hantarex Polo repair:
