Hi there guys I have a strange issue with my naomi raspberrypi. It boots and loads games perfectly yet the back light only comes on for a few seconds during initial boot up. After that I can't get it to turn on, I checked my solder spots and even went over them again in case of a cold joint. Could it be a file missing in my image? or a line of code in the config file? Any help is really appreciated, today I will attempt to short pin 16 to ground to see if it comes on.

the pot is for contrast, it shouldn't effect backlight brightness. I believe the backlight is either on or off.

I'd make sure you don't have any cold or bridged solder joints. and if you don't find anything there I believe the program code can turn the backlight on and off so maybe it's being set off somwhere.

you could also try loading one of the many PiPlate demo apps to see if the problem persists there, that would rule out either the software or hardware side of it.
