Hi yo just wanted to check if this power supply is good to run mvc2 on a naomi.
If it is, will it work for a naomi 2 with GD rom? I'm asking because that's what my supergun has inside.

Naomi's need 3.3v going into it. I don't see a 3.3 terminal on that power supply. You'll need something like a Capcom IO that will supply the 3.3v needed. If you're trying to run a GD-rom as well (MVC2 is just a cart) I have no idea if the Capcom IO can handle that kind of load.

capcom io will do a cart fine. there's some mod I think to make it do a net dimm? I am sure it won't work with a gdrom. Sun PSU is the OEM solution. You can also use a PC power supply and mod the connectors.

Thanks for the info. I do have the capcom I/O, I have it set up like this. My concern is they the power supply is rated for 110w or so.... running audio and video directly to the monitor

This is how I have it set up
Is this the 31hz setting?

dip switch one controls 15 or 31. i forget which is which. if you have a picture though it's probably right.

adpater + ATX easier is not?

Easier is subjective. If he already has the aforementioned PSU in his cabinet that would be easier than adding in another just for the Naomi. There's also the issue of parts, I'm having no luck finding the VLP-06V needed to build an ATX adapter (but I guess that's an issue no mater what the power source is).
