Telling people to not share opinions is gross, don't do that.

They're novelty cabs. Everyone understands that. If you want one you want one. There are downsides, they're only practical in the sense that they can fit in some small spots. It's okay to understand that they're not ideal cabs in other ways.

I think they're adorable myself. I bought a NAC from someone with a pink Cute and I was tempted to make an offer, he was clearly open to selling. I decided the money was too high for a gimmick cab and passed. Never regretted it tbh, but if one fell into my lap I certainly wouldn't turn it down.

Anyone who buys one of these and decides it's not for them? I'm confident you'll have zero trouble selling it and getting your money back out.
I agree censorship is wrong @Aurich .

My goal in frustration was to not hamper this project any longer and create disinterest in a 90 cab order that @Cereth has to sell. If you want to help him sell it there are better places than a pre order thread at container launch

I think that if you are not interested in this item. Post somewhere else about your distastes.

The Cute is “unique”. “Gimmicky” frustrates me more and now passes your opinion of a cab investment being “gimmicky” and possibly causing someone to back out of their interest at the finish line of a product.

If you guys want a pony then do your best to be mindful of a project that’s been delayed

I got my money on this project and I don’t like cynical opinions from people who don’t.

Those issues are easily to fix, hursit can create clear repo glass, one player panel and figure out where to move the coin dropping hole to make it functional..that’s was what I was going to get when I was on the list but 19” monitors hurts my eyes at that distance. I do love these cute cabs. Now my true love are the dinosaur king type of cabs with 13” monitors, my eyes approve:)

It is a gimmicky cab. It's meant for children, grown adults are going to find that it's not an ideal playing platform.

It's a great collector cab, and fits in small spots, maybe it's the way to put one in your home office or whatever. Maybe you just want to collect it because it looks cool. Nobody has to justify how they spend their money. I think they look great, super fun design, even if not practical.

If someone backs out because they realize it's not for them then that's okay, they clearly shouldn't have been in in the first place if they didn't understand what they were buying.

Again though, it's imo a foolproof investment. They'll be easy to sell locally if you change your mind later. I'm not trying to talk anyone out of getting one.

Yeah, it's pretty clear you're thinking about your wallet, and not that everyone deserves an honest discussion about what these cabs are like. Just because someone isn't boosting your sale doesn't make them cynical. We're all here to look out for each other, not sell shit. Don't act like a bully, everyone has a voice here unless Darksoft says otherwise.

Best of luck to everyone, I never thought this project would happen, and here we are, with photos of a room full of cabs. I'm sure it will work out.

My sale?

I own a Mini Cute and love it!

I’m getting 3 more so I can have 2 Horizontal 480p link cabs and 2 vertical shooter link cabs just in time for Mike’s new cab link.

If you wanna go back and read the last 68 pages and see where people with no interest in this project stalled it for years. Go ahead. Or you can share your gimmicky opinions somewhere else than a Pre Order thread

It is not a “Gimmick Cab” and your making me upset by calling it that.

I don't think you should not be calling it that as this project is being finalized for the reasons I mentioned above.

It’s a smaller cab with a beautiful metal body and Capcom aesthetics.

My NAC is cool (but I gotta say) I like my shmups on the Nanao 18 better. Sue me @Aurich

If I were you I’d stop before the thread closes again let’s just move on. This is an amazing project!

On that subject, I think there's two NANAO 18" on Yahoo! Japan at the moment. I was thinking about picking them up, but the frame is already being built for a 19", @hursit would it be crazy difficult to switch it back to mounting for an 18" or is that ship already sailed?

If it doesn’t work out. I’ll pay you a 5% finders fee plus shipping and grab those Nanao from you.

I would buy them as backups.

I have cancelled the first order due to non-payment and no communication. I will probably cancel the remainder of the orders from people who haven't responded to me within the next week or two.

I'm officially out of green cutes. I can probably work with @hursit and do some balancing, but don't count on it. I also have 3 green cutes that I am saving personally, but I'm not too keen on letting them go. There are 4 pink and 6 yellow left, plus whoever gets cancelled for not having gotten back in touch with me.

What do you mean by cancelled order?

Do people who paid and confirmed their order with you get their cabs?

Are you still receiving the intial order?

I would like a little iteration if you don’t mind to explain the current situation..

This may have been already stated - but what are the dimensions needed for a piece of plywood to have a snug fit when mounting pcbs?
