I’m trying to connect a 360 to my Blast City via vga cable. The 360 is set to 480p and I set the dip switches on the Blast City to 31 kHz vga. The picture I get is divided in the middle (see image). What could be the cause and how do I fix it?

Not sure. It's a a Nanao MS2930. I've been using this manual (https://wiki.arcadeotaku.com/images/6/65/Sega_Blast_City_Bass_Fishing.pdf). Instructions for adjusting the monitor are on pages 49-50, but I can't say that i understand most of it.Can you adjust hsync/hhold on your monitor?
yes it does look like a 31k image on a 15k screen, but i assumed you already set the dips, please verify firstAfter some googling, I think the monitor might still be in 15 kHz mode. I have to check my dip switches when I get home.
