Problems with image after K7000 flyback and recap

My K7000 flyback was cracked and leaking so I decided to replace it. I figured while I did that I'd recap it also. When I plugged it back in the video is mostly white, I can see the image but it's really bad. Not sure what I messed up. The picture I attached is actually the neo geo splash screen, you can kind of make it out standing in front of it.

Any input is appreciated. I'm pretty bummed out this happened.

There's two pots on the flyback. Top one is for focus, bottom for screen. You'll need to adjust both. Turn down the screen pot to get rid of the gray, then adjust focus.

So I've done this and just did it again. Nothing really changes when I adjust the screen pot, when I turn it down it just goes black. I just noticed that the screen pot wiggles like a tooth that's about to come out and has a sound like oil down inside it. Maybe it's a bad aftermarket flyback?

The pots on the aftermarket flyback aren't great quality, but they should work. Oil is just there for lubrication.

What does the focus pot do?

Can you take pictures of the chassis and the work that you have done?

I figured it out, contacted the place I bought it from and I had the new flyback wires mixed up. Swapped them correctly and the problem is gone.

I've always wondered what would happen if you swapped G2 with focus. Now I know!
