Great giveaway :O love this mod. Sometimes CDDA audio can be finicky depending on the rom. But you can just edit your cue sheets or something like that to fix it.

You have to convert them to BIN/CUE format using the PSIO System Console software. It's not too difficult and there aren't that many games that use CDDA audio compared to the total library. https://tme.miraheze.org/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_games_with_CD_audio_tracks
