FOUND Puyo Puyo 2 ("tsu")

heyo! Just like the title says; looking to see if anyone has one of these they're up for moving. Been playing a lot of puyo champions on switch during some time on the road and thought it would be fun to grab the board. I know there's enough boards on yahoo that you can trip over a stack for cheap, but I figured I'd look around here first and see if there was a one more readily available in the states.

Would also be interested in a puyo 1 as well if someone can bundle the 2 boards in a deal, but mainly interested in 2/tsu since thats still played somewhat competitively.

Board found! Purchased Puyo 2 with the marquee outside of AP on yaj for $160 (final price includes yajs fees/insurance/etc as well). Just updating the thread with sold prices since there was some confusion about market value on these.

I found that System C2 or even C boards aren't cheap anymore. Furthermore Puyo Puyo 2 was never cheap.

But good luck with the hunt, you might get lucky.

I could definitely be wrong, but I feel like I've always seen them in passing on yaj go for around that 80-150 range? Maybe that IS expensive for this/these board(s), or maybe im missing something, but thats about what I was expecting.

(Ignoring the stv sun copies, etc etc)

before the C2 multi came out you could find them on YAJ in that range. but I think they're usually $250-$350 now depending on the game.

ah is that right? I actually didn't realize there was a multi for this system, I just wanted to play puyo lol. Oh well, ill leave the thread up until I snag one eventually

I feel like 100-200USD is very doable if you're patient keep an eye on YAJ.

I won a Puyo Puyo Tsu with full art set back in late May for just under $150.

I didn't know prices for Puyo Puyo 2 were still ok in Japan. I keep seeing it for $300/$350 on greedbay.
But yes C2 boards were much cheaper before ($50/60 for most titles except TFAC).
Also I don't think the multi drove prices up, ALL arcade gear has become very expensive over the course of 2/3 years. Realistically each game on C2 was produced in thousands of copies, we sold ~50 kits, I don't see how it could have had an impact.

that probably explains it. Its pretty rare that I ever look around ebay for games anymore unless it's for something a little more """"western"""; pacman, nintendo stuff, etc. Granted that junks not cheap anymore either, but still. Anything even remotely close to an import title I just default to yaj.
