I have mine set to Christmas at all times because why not 
. Love this game! Combines all the best elements of Puzzle Bobble 2 and Bust a Move 2 into one game and even adds new stuff on top of it all. Definitely my favorite entry in the series.
For those that don’t know. On 2X the Puzzle Mode uses the USA backgrounds and the VS mode uses the Japan backgrounds. The USA backgrounds are kind of a timeline of our world and pretty fun in my opinion. After hours and hours of only seeing the Japanese backgrounds playing the MVS version of Puzzle Bobble 2 for many years, it was nice to see something new. The music used on both modes is the Japan OST. The 2X mode adds a lot of new gameplay mechanics which I’m too lazy to explain at the moment, so please use Google
