Quick question about Soul Calibur II's Conquest mode

As you may know, Conquest is split into 4 teams. Unfortunately, the red team on my Conquest memory card was defeated when I got it. If one team wins, does that wipe every player's data/stats? There's quite a bit of history on my Conquest ID, which I'd rather have over having a 4th team on the field.

Not sure how it would have gone about happening in an arcade since there's thousands of registered fights, but a previous owner clearly enjoyed playing since the blue team had like 97% coverage

No, when one of those groups is wiped out, it moves that player to another team, when that player logs into their account, they have a choice on which team they want to join. Player data doesn’t get affected, only team placement.

Ah, so if I go ahead and "complete" the current round of Conquest then it retains all the player data for the next one?

Video I made crazy long ago when I first got my 246 working showing exactly what happens when conquest mode is completed. Since my board at the time was very close to conquest being completed.
