Hello I'm looking to buy a cheap taito f3 motherboard region free with a cheap game to use while I save up for a taito f3 multi cart.

But does the multi-kit require a region free motherboard? (yes, looks like it does)

it takes 5 minutes with a pair of needle nose pliers to make a region locked mobo into a region free mobo.

no mobo came region free, they've all been modified to be that way.

@Alioh7 ... you can purchase any working TAITO F3 motheboard with a game and you can always check this theard to find how you can mod your F3 motherboard to be region free

I mean... I poked around on the eBays and you CAN find an auction for an A and B board for around $250... but never seen anything for much less than that. "Region free" boards sell for silly prices, given that it's just a few plastic tabs.

Good luck in your hunt, and thanks for reminding me that I wanted one as well... I just grabbed a Land Builder B board with a Japan A board for ~$229 (slightly damaged frame, but most are).
So reasonable deals are out there.
