Removing Blast City Coin Counter Connector

I'm taking apart my Blast City for a cleaning, and I have everything but the two connectors under the coinbox (pictured) removed. All the wires going to the IO board are still ziptied together, so I'd prefer to leave the other ends alone and just disconnect these two connectors. Any advice on how to do so? I pinch the clips on the side and it doesn't seem to release. It seems possible but tricky from this post. Will it be easier if I try after I start to separate the bottom from the front? Any other tips? Thanks!

Yeah, looks like disassembling the front and bottom then disconnecting these from the other side is the move.

It was, very easy to pop them out after the bottom was removed from the main body.
