symptom: didn't boot, bought blind from eBay
cause: main RAM was bad; replaced, board started up perfectly
time spent: 30 minutes; 20 fixing it, 10 selling it afterwards

having a chuckle at pearl-clutchers losing their minds that someone would buy a board that looked like an easy fix & sell

Glad you got it and were able to fix quickly. $1K is quite the gamble for most folks

How am I supposed to gauge how mad I am if I don't know how much profit you made? Am I a little salty? Stomping my feet? Did you make enough that I have to sell everything and quit the hobby because you literally just ruined it?

Gratz on the fix! I was checkin that one too but 1.2k+ taxes included was I bit high for me .
Could as well been the fpga that needed reflowing so I didnt want to take the chance
Curious how a dead board of this complexity "looked like a easy fix" thou

Very nice! Was looking at it too, but not comfortable to spent that much for a board without any info on how its broken
