I was given a Sega Royal Ascot PCB a few months back. It's a cool souvenir and I appreciate the gift, but I can't help but think it'd be in better hands with someone who can maybe use it to repair or restore a machine.

The game itself is a horse racing 'medal game' (betting game, essentially). I think it had a limited EU/US release, which I assume is what I have. Here's a video for what it looks like: www.youtube.com/watch?v=DtKLZrn1JSw

While I was going to try and reach out to a Japanese resort that (as of 2022) still had the game to try and donate it to them for use, I've since found out it's entirely undumped. (Or the EU version anyway: https://undumped.miraheze.org/wiki/Royal_Ascot )

I've already sent the MAME guys an email. (Or I hope it's the MAME guys? Arcadeitalia.net?)

Just really asking for help on what to do and where to go to. I'd much rather send to someone trustworthy than attempt this myself. Apparently the hardware on here can be reused, but I want it to at least be dumped first before it's relegated to being a donor board.

The board in the picture looks nothing like X-board. Is it just the satellite board you have @varjak_?

[EDIT]
I see at least two PLDs to be dumped too, one is a PLS153 and the other is a GAL16V8.

I assume so. All I know about it is that it's a Royal Ascot PCB (or at least, that's what it was identified as.)

I don't really know what I'm looking for but I took a bunch more photos.

Seems that's the board inside each player's cabinet rather than the main one with the horse animations.
Would still be cool to be dumped and preserved (maybe even tested somehow, I see a 315-5242 custom module so it should output RGBS).
Also spotted a 68K in SDIP64 and ODD/EVEN ROM sockets, there's a good chance that board can drive a player's cabinet.
