Hi!

I have been working converting my MVS U4 to run Retropie with the Pi2jamma adapter.
However i am having issues getting the picture to display in a true 4:3 setting, its almost like its trying to output 16:9. Its cropping the image on the top and bottom and not using the full display.

Tried both Retropie and Regamebox but its the same issue.

Anyone have an idea on how to fix?

It’s working good for me in my Neo Geo 4 slot cabinet. Please don’t forget to use a JVS big red adapter or build your own!

Side note: I don’t recommend the Pi2Jamma, it is not a bad product but I would go for a mister for accuracy. Setting up the pi is...

ijust tried that image and the issue still occurs. Could this be a hardware issue, like a partial vertical collapse?
 
Indeed it was a hardware issue! It was a broken vertical size potentiometer, solved it temporarily using a pot from a guitar :)
