I'm assuming this isn't possible when switching games since the settings are (I'm assuming) are saved in the eeprom and are overwritten when you change the game. Just wanted to get confirmation.
Save settings on CPS2 multi?

Yes, that is correct. The EPROM saves settings for the current game but it gets erased when you switch to a different game.
