I've picked up a Scud Race deluxe and the digital sound board and front audio amp have both been ruined by rodent p*** by the looks of it.
The digital sound board isn't the 'normal' one used in multiple games (for rear audio/soundtrack) it appears to be unique to the deluxe scud race and is for front audio. The part number is 838-12882 and it looks like so,
i've sourced some replacements online but i'm more curious as to what signal processing this is doing to the front audio that is specific to the deluxe model.
Also does anybody know the difference between amplifiers based on the number designations?
For example, the deluxe front audio amp is 838-11650-08 and the rear is 838-11650-20 but they look nigh on identical, i'm guessing maybe some minute differences at component level for power output/impedance differences?
Meanwhile the standard twin uses 838-11650-22 front and 838-11650-23 rear.
