Sega Aero Monitor Interference

so i have a lovely Sega Aero, but i notice on the monitor i have this weird faint interference , however if i pull the monitor forward (as if i wanted to adjust the pots for the picture,) as i pull the monitor towards me the interference goes leaving the most amazing picture, but soon as your start to let it lean back in the interference returns ?

Interference like discoloration? Can you provide a pic for reference?

cant at moment but its like ghosty wavy lines , there very faint but you see them come on as you put the monitor back and it does slightly make the picture less vibrant

Is the speaker near the monitor? Is there a bulb in the cab?

yes to both i did disconnect the light but made no issue same with the speakers, seems to be as the monitor frame starts to really make contact with the cabinet

Seems like a ground issue. I don't have first hand experience but if it's like other Sega cabinets the monitor is supposed to be floating both electrically (meaning no chassis ground) and physically (via rubber isolators).
