@rewrite Need to pick your brain on mine. Did a simple cap kit on both PCBs. Power was fine and worked. Audio, not so much. Lost audio completely after the recap. Powered down and checked and saw both 5A fuses blown on the audio PCB. Replaced them (also checked voltage regulator out of circuit just in case because fuses tend to blow for a reason). Put it all back and fired it up! Success! Audio was back. But... I turned it up on both the PCB and Blast City knob. And... SMOKE. Lots of it. Turned it off and called it a night. Going to look at it again later today.These aren't hard. Echoing everything Del said, caps, VR's, fuses solve 99% of issues. If it were in the US I'd happily take a look at it for you. I redo a *lot* of power supplies.
Yeah, going to pop it open tonight. Didn't seem to find any schematics on it, although I did see there is a wiring diagram.I honestly can't say that I've seen that before! You'll know what went wrong soon as you open it up to see what smoked though, I'm positive of that.
