Looking for a Sega JVS/Jamma IO 838-13683-93 or 838-13683-02. I've got one that's acting weird so I'd like to get another one to troubleshoot.

Edit 2: new one also doesn't work as needed. I'll pay a little extra if you can confirm it works with a JVS-PAC 2.

bump, the one I picked up doesn't work with my JVS-PAC 2, which was the problem with my original one. I know it's possible for it to work, because I have one that does work. I will pay a few bucks extra for one of these if you can confirm it works with a JVS-PAC 2.

Is there a physical identifying difference between one that will work for your needs and one that doesn't? I think I have one but don't have a jvspac2.

Not that I'm aware of. It's possible it could be tied to a particular revision or serial number range but it's unlikely.

FWIW I don't intend to attract any negative attention regarding the JVS-PAC 2. (also invzim is aware of the potential root cause of the issue.) It has worked for me with every other IO I've tried (various models from Sega, Namco, and Taito). It's just specifically given me problems with the Sega JAMMA IOs which also happen to be some of the oldest and likely on the fringe of the JVS specs.
