Sega JVS not detected

So the i/o worked fine, then next day turn game back on and naomi 2 does not detect jvs board.

Had to swap in a spare jvs and game booted up fine.


Are these boards this temperamental? Just fail by turning off.then.back on?

Which revision of JVS i/o have least failure rate?

Had it happen too on a type 1 board.
The big ic took a dump.

Mine was a type 1.5 , newer rev of type 1 with built in i/c instead of toshiba socketed i/c
