Sega lindbergh yellow os installation phase 4 error

Hi guys
Our outrun2 sp dx froze
Upon reboot said error 10
Further reboot it went to os installation
Got part way through and error’d
Can anyone give any advice on this and how to fix
Tried numerous WD hdd
Install game from dvd
Reboots
Goes to os installation then fluffs at phase 4 again

Any help greatly appreciated
