Hello guys
Can you give me some ideas how to manufacture a plastic panel that exists on a Sega MegaTech cabinet?
I am currently working on a 3D model that will be shared when finished.
The dimensions are cca 530x420x150mm
I have no experience on what manufacturer can do such thing, so any ideas are welcome!
Thank you!
J.

3D printing + lots of finishing work is about the only way that comes to mind for a one off.

Vacuum forming is the "proper" way to do something like this (you'd still want to couple that with a printed or machined part), but the part size will exceed most hobbyist setups.

The simplest thing would be to repair the one you have on the inside with fiberglass and epoxy resin, sand and paint or at least that's what I would do and it would still be original.
I have this cabinet under restoration, in case that you need a photo.

Thanks for the replies, I was thinking about making a "mould" using 3D printer and then find somebody with a vaccum press.
Or maybe find somebody on Aliexpres who makes such parts for cheap from a 3D model. Any ideas?

And no, repairing is not solving my problem, I have just borrowed this part, I need to make a duplicate for my custom cabinet. But it gave me an idea by using the part as mould and put fiberglass/cloth on top and harden it using epoxy.
