Sega Megaplay Repro's

Another project that arrived was some sega megaplay repro's.
They look great and run well!

If anyone needs any contact myself or @caius and we can add to the next order of blanks.

Hopefully we can get some standard MD games running but the menu system on this H/w is very strange!

It's an extra z80 with it's own gfx layer . it's i/o multiplexing controls the cart slots and all the system controls/dips. <and starts / resets the MD chipset>

Apocalypse has it mostly sorted . I need to populate one of these blanks with a standard MD rom + test with apocalypse bios.
'retail' MD games (PCB) have a slightly different pinout so system does not detect them at all.

If only I knew you were interested in Megaplay, I made some 1:1 layout, enig, blue silkscreen ones a couple years ago in order to get Gunstar Heroes dumped

It took a long time to get a working motherboard, was always interested in it

I don't think there's any more out there undumped, columns 3 must be the missing game i.d in the list.

Very cool! MD has a special place in my heart and I'm sure that goes for most of us here.

Had a almost complete PAL set once (about 800 games +) Regret selling sometimes but don't miss the space it all took up!
