SEGA Net City Light Bulb Replacement

Hello. I recently purchased a Net City a couple months ago. And only today did I notice that the top light is not turning it on.

Does anybody know what type/model of light bulb I can use to replace the bulb? Can it be replaced with LED lights?

I went with a LED direct replacement tube, removed the ballast, starter, and rewired the bulb holder. That was 2 years ago and I never looked back. A good quality replacement LED tube will come with instructions on how to wire the bulb holders. As good manufacturers want the ballast and starter completely bypassed.

Nice. Personally I like to leave the wiring alone and pop in a new starter and fluorescent tube, lasts me many years but I don't log a ton of hours every day or anything like that.
