APOCALYPSE Sega System 18 Installation and Support

for completeness: I downloaded the same software for the proman from the CPS3 instruction pdf from this post and ran the NOR06x_beta_x.exe (063 and beta_D) as of this post.

the orientation for the adapter and module for my setup is different from the earlier post.

So my multi has been working well for a while now, but on my last boot I stopped getting sound.
Transferred to a known working motherboard and the issue is the same.
Games play fine, selector works great, just no sound.
I can hear a little squeaky garbage noise on boot, but other than that it's just static that does respond to me cranking the volume

Edit - tested on multiple cabs as well, issue is the same
Edit 2 - noticed a couple minor graphical issues in Shadow Dancer that occurred on both Motherboards
Edit 3 - Dug out my original rom board, decrypted it. works perfectly on both motherboards, seems my issue is solidified to the multi

I would start by re-verifying the flash modules.
 
Unfortunately I don't have the programmer to do that; I had a friend program this for me
 
Maybe he can check for you or if you want I can look at it for you.
 
Thanks, I'll do a bit more testing to see if I can figure anything out and I'll ping you direct probably next week
