I'm looking for 1 to 3 Sega trackballs model 610-0595 or equivalent. These are the ones found in Virtua Golf and Outtrigger, if not older and newer games.

I'm trying to put together a 4 player Outtrigger setup, so if you have full panels I might be interested in that too.

Hi mate.
I should have 3-4 of Sega Tracks coming from the "old" panels like segasonic.
They should exactly be what you are looking for, but i have to check part#.

With a small but of modification happs 2 1/4 inch trackballs should work it depends on the mounts. One hole on the happs housing needs to be partially widened with a drill and mounted with 3 bolts. Otherwise they all need to be drilled to mount all 4. They have different connectors and pinouts but will work once thats changed. Cheaper than sega ones which can go up to 20k yen although depends on the time and day and which direction the wind blows

I picked up a Happ trackball and like you said it's not 1:1. The 4 mounting holes are either the same or almost the same, but the panel studs don't fit inside the holes. The ring around the trackball is larger requiring a larger hole in the panel. The overall housing is bigger and especially taller, which might be an issue depending on the cabinet.

Yes like i said they need partially drilling to make it fit.

I take it you don't have the panels?

I'd recommend hunting for that first and then filling in the missing parts. I say this as someone who spent a few years piecing together a 4-player outtrigger setup.
outside of the buttons the trackballs are the easiest component to source in the setup.

I have one original panel and two Virtua Golf panels to steal parts from.

I was planning on asking @alberto1225 about repros when I got the trackballs and IOs together. I also wanted to explore making a panel for the Happ trackball but I haven't gotten to check if the depth will work yet.

Unless you really need it to be original, I don't see any reason to hunt down the panels. Sanwa sells the sticks new and the trackballs can be found on Yahoo. A type 2 IO will work in place of the trackball IO (I think?).

Original panels are stupid expensive.
