Grand Master
I picked up a Korean Seibu SPI with Raiden Fighters, off ebay (turns out the seller's on this forum) and it's missing a ton of stuff. Looks like it was done at the factory level, all the missing parts have very clean solder fills where the holes are. But I'm surprised by the things that aren't there. There's no P3/P4 connectors, or the associated filters. The extra connector near the JAMMA edge (for the mahjong panel?) is missing, along with the big cube component near the JAMMA power pins. The stereo sound jumper is there, but the stereo 4-pin connector isn't - so you can turn stereo sound on but not get stereo sound out. The 10 pin header near the stereo switch is also gone.
It seems like a V2.0 (Cost Reduced) sort of product.
And the cart didn't come with a cover either.
Anyway I mention it here because it doesn't seem like it's been mentioned anywhere else, ever.
Oh and also strange, the SUB2 game cart PCB has 8 EPROMs, not 6, as the MAME Korean set has, similar to the Japanese (rdftj) set.
