I say SF2: WW is worth 120$ max, the reason for this price are as follows...
  • Common PCB
  • Lacks the 4MB MaskROM type B-board (worthless for conversions)
  • Lacks the 12mhz A-board crystal (WW is 10mhz)

SF2:CE is worth more like 160~180$ (aka your asking price)...
  • Common PCB
  • Has the 4MB MaskROM Type B-board (can be used for almost all conversions)
  • Has the 12mhz crystal (supports almost all known CPS1 games at proper speeds, unlike trying to run 12mhz games on a 10mhz board).
 
I assume you have a bunch of working A Boards you're willing to part with?

This appears to be the main issue with finding decent CPS1 setups is that everyone's A boards are all fucked and prices are rising with the advent of the future multi. Most offerings on KLOV are also in the 150 160 range for WW (even the solo board version). Also as I recall the crystal can be swapped so that's not really a huge deal.

While true about the price, solo board version? No dude, no solo board version was ever made by capcom (that's a bootleg).
Sure you can swap the crystal, its not really a big deal... But it also makes 10mhz A-boards worth less than 12mhz A-boards.
That was my entire point here, yes the price has risen, but NO WW isn't worth the same amount as a CE.

Yeah maybe that's where the issue lies, CE has gone up to the 200 dollar range now where i've seen them. 170-180 is the lowest I've seen around. If you know of somewhere else to look I'm happy to adjust my sights down, but I think that the facts are as you presented them causing the prices to slowly climb.

Before you say something like "Well it really isn't worth that" the market will always bear it out. Just wait till the multi actually releases... gonna be CRAZY pants.
