I have a skycurser unit I got from work, they've had the game in storage for a couple years and decided to tear it down and trash it. Got to keep the main computer stuff and marquee for myself, and have wondered if I can somehow get the game off the unit. I already opened it up to see what's in it, looks like a mini motherboard connected up to a J-PAC jamma board (had to google to find out exactly what it was).
I am an absolute novice at anything like this, usually just doing maintenance to merchandiser games and general arcade machines (golden tee, raw thrills stuff). I've tried to find out if anyone has dumped or taken one of these apart but I'm finding nothing online. It has a separate USB that goes into the "GAME" port on it, tried to just plug it into my computer at home but it just doesn't see it. I haven't even tried to get connectors to hook it up to a monitor boot it but I know it was working when it was torn down.
How would I go about getting the game out of this?
