If anyone has this game for sale (even if it’s a conversion with or without move card or any art i will happy buy it ! - Pretty sure this game is not jamma ready I would be happy to find a conversion adaptor for it as well - any info getting me closer to securing this game would be massively appreciated thanks !!!

i have a japanese rom kit for it with some unused move strips and marquee and stuff? you would need to find the model 2b motherboard and a sac game to steal the rom board from. let me know if you're interested and I can dig it out... or if you want to hold out for a complete playable system I understand.

That’s awesome how much would you be willing to sell that stuff for ?

So... I purchased it quite a long time ago. I checked my records but I can't seem to find my purchase price. I know I imported it from Japan many years ago. I think this game is kind of rare already... and the art is not easy to find. I thought the movestrips were unused but when I looked again they seem to be used, removed, and restuck to the backings? At least 2 of them. There's quite a bit of different cabinet art... I took pics of all the stuff I have in the kit and I'm posting them below. I don't know what to ask for price wise... I guess make me an offer or let's wait for the community to give me a price check?

I'll list what contents I see for clarity:

Manual in a clear folder. Good condition.
Move sheet
2x instruction strip
2x move strip
Marquee (very long and skinny, not sure what machine it's for? there's a border sticker that is unused.)
2x candy marquee art
box with mask roms and a couple stickers

@KaPH33n, I guess there's more chips underneath the ones you have pictured? There's supposed to be 23 altogether.

good eye bro. there was indeed a second level of roms underneath. I didn't match up every label, but I did count the 23 so I assume it's right.

I would hope that it does get scanned. I believe the move strips that are partially used up could be recreated from the bigger move sheet that includes the same art?

At this point... I would be happy to know that someone at least is taking these roms and finishing the project I started... and that some people actually get to enjoy playing this awesome game. It's kind of like virtua fighter but with sonic characters. I mean, it's not as deep as some other games, but it's certainly fun to mess around with! I only played it one time in real life on real hardware.

I’m more than happy to scan and share this artwork if I’m able to get it . I just realized I have a spare virtual on board I may be able to use to get this game running

If you want the original ROMset/arts don't let me disuade you but as long as you have a Model 2B board set and a spare ROM board you can build your own by just burning the ROMs and setting the jumpers. This game has no security to prevent it.

Given the number of chips it's going to cost you a good $30+ in EPROMs alone but it's do-able.

I have a burner but I haven’t learned to use it yet maybe I’ll do that for the usa version and convert another board over if I can’t find it , I’m super into getting this kit though the artwork alone is so awesome

I should have scanned the candy cab marquee before i sent it out... hindsight is 2020.
