So, if you're into Sonic rom hacking, you've probably heard about Sonic the Fighters : Remix. If not, TLDR it's a romhack by TDRR that unlocks all the characters hidden in the game code + other gaming stuff that makes the game a bit more tournament-ready.

Read more about it here:

The hack was made for Xbox-360, PS3 and Model2, but it had never been tested on real hardware, only emulation.

Well, as a matter of fact, turns out it does work on a Model2 B CRX, it's only two roms to replace !

In order to play it on my NNC, I bought a Jamma to Model2 adapter on YAJ with ATX power supply, as my cab already has a Jamma harness

I've also bought a 400-5443-01 15A JVS power supply, so I could eventually power it through the cab. Coming soon.

And, as the Model2 stack in its cage definitely can't fit inside a NNC, I installed it on a leftover plank of wood replacing the back door.

Hi, glad to see you got it up and running.

The Sonic Championship service manual shows that power should be connected to CN9 and CN10, and it looks like you have it connected to CN10 and CN11. I would recommend swapping the CN11 power to JAMMA connector to CN9 on the filter board to ensure the components on that side are pulling enough juice.

But as it seems this is only a temporary solution until you get one of the JVS power supplies it should be fine for now.
