SSF2T Graphics Glitch?

I just picked up a US Super Turbo board and noticed this during the attract sequence. When it cuts to Ryu with the black background, there's a rectangle of pixels that's darker than the rest. That area is fine at all other times including gameplay, and I haven't noticed any other issues. When Ryu does the Hadoken at the end and his arm comes into that area, the arm is drawn fine but the rest of the rectangle is still a darker black. Is it something to be concerned about or does it happen on other copies of the game?

I want to say this is normal, because on CPS2 that BG should be pure black (adjust your monitor to make it so)

If you want I can check my board by jacking up the brightness

The only glitches I've had on CPS2 were result of the A & B boards not sandwiched together enough
