I’m confused. This is a consolised genuine CPS-1, did he redesign the B and C boards to be more compact or is there some other hackery going on?

it's just a fancy custom B-Board, with the ROMs mounted on his custom carts.
it's unclear if the C-board is integrated into the cartridge or the B-Board as there aren't any clear pictures of the second cart PCB.
