Looking for a taito type X4 multi. Bought an X3 multi but its not compatible with my viewlix . so looking to buy or trade for one.

in what way is it not compatible? because i have a vewlix with a x3. if you have jvs it should work if you plug it into the right usb port. which is not on hte motherboard.

The viewlix i have was made for the X4 and has a different io not compatible with X3 or x2.

You could theoretically swap in a JVS IO as well but I think the fast IO may use the same wiring as your USB IO? Someone with both could probably confirm.

You just need to swap the USB IO for a Fast IO.

Is it the same connector for both io's or would it require an adapter if I put a fast io?

USB I/O uses a different harness (G1) than JVS and Fast (G). That said you have a lot of options beyond trying to track down a G harness.

For example, you could ignore all the stock wiring and use Brook boards or similar (and gain pc/console compatibility). Just get their harnesses cheap and easy from Amazon.

I thought the Taito USB I/O worked with PCs though. Maybe I'm thinking of the Sega USB I/O?
