Hi there folks !
I don't know about you guys, but me, I LOVE those arcade games artsets man !
But, finding some of them is a pain sometimes and they can be as expensive as the games themselves (we live wondrous times aren't we ?)
Plus, most of those artsets are in Japanese and have no translations existing (or that I know of).
So I would like to dedicate this thread to the few "hard to find" original artsets I restored at the best of my capabilities.
Please keep in mind : I am no Graphic Designer, have no extensive knowledge of Gimp (I actually started using it specially for doing those kind of restores) and I might have taken a few liberties regarding the translations (you'll probably notice...), so I apologize in advance.
Apart from that, I always try to stick as much as possible to the original arts.
Since I did those for myself and/or friends, there will probably not be a lot of interest but I will post the results here for those who might be interested.
If you feel you can improve the design or traduction, typo, or anything ..., please go ahead and share the result here with the rest of the community
And please do not use my restores (including the lame trad) for commercial purpose of any kind.
This one for Xain'd Sleena from Technos, 1986
That is just a low-res pic of the actual thing (18Mo), so send me a PM with your mail and I will send the original pdf to you.
And here is one for Ginga Ninkyouden from Jaleco, 1987
The quality of this one is not great, it is a lot smaller since the original material was really low res.
