Triforce Type 3 not booting non-triforce games with piforce netboot setup? Error 31.

Hey everyone,

I'm not sure if I'm losing my mind or simply not understanding what can be done with a piforce netboot setup on my Mario Kart GP Triforce game.

For many years now, I've had MK GP, MK2 GP, and Fzero GX loaded on my setup without issue. I was under the impression that I could load and play other racing games from Naomi and Chihiro so I added a handful of others such as Crazy Taxi, Outrun and Initial D. Unfortunately, when I select any of those games, I get an "Error 31 this game is not acceptable by main board" message. It's a Type 3, 512MB and zerokey installed.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping not to hear, "You can't." :P Thanks in advance!

You can ONLY play the games that are made for the hardware. So - while the mechanism to load the game is the same between the Naomi/Chihiro/Triforce - the gaming hardware (motherboard, GPU, etc) is completely different.
 
Ahh thanks for the confirmation @mathewbeall! Exactly what I did not want to hear but at least I don't have to keep spinning wheels here. Appreciate your time and info.
