Hello! I have a Vewlix cab I got awhile back that came with a TTX3 multi (atrax). I had wired it at one point for JAMMA to play an atomiswave Dolphin Blue board I had. I recently got a Mushihimesama PCB and wanted to set it up the way but I could not dial in the colors through those converter boards from China. I noticed that the TTX3 multi has it on it but the screen orientation is horizontal, is there a way to play games on a vertical monitor from this system? This is my first experience messing with FAST I/O and JVS so forgive me if this is a simple solution lol.. Also is there a way to have the system boot into one game?

Thanks in advance!

Your best option for running a vertical JAMMA board on a horizontal Vewlix display is to use a RetroTink 4K - it can scale the output correctly and apply the rotation.

Rather than a Chinese converter board, I suggest using a Jammafier by @invzim . It's designed specifically for adapting JAMMA boards to work on JVS cabinets.

With a RetroTink 4K handling video and a Jammafier handling everything else, you'd be all set for running both hori and tate JAMMA boards in a Vewlix.

Awesome thank you very much! Ill look into these options asap. In the meantime is there an option to change orientation on the TTX3 multi?

The TTX3 runs Cave games through the MAME emulator, which handles the screen rotation from vertical to horizontal. Try connecting a USB keyboard to your TTX3 and press Tab while the game is running - that should bring up the MAME options.
