Got a raise, so...
Looking for Waku Waku 7 MVS cartridge.
Would also be interested in a decent starter collection (main board with one or more cartridges) IGS PGM.

Shipping to California USA.

Thanks!

If you need anything PGM.... Just let me know. Also feel free to join the PGM Discord group, where we talk a lot about the PGM and arcade stuff in general :-)
I'm in AU.. but can post anywhere....

I've reached a deal with Skate for a main board and a couple carts to get me started. Will continue my hunt for Demon Front to replace the single JAMMA board version I have (which I'll then resell to off set the cost of moving to the cart version). Is there anything like the MVS Scans database for comparing cartridge PCBs? If I know nothing else, I know there are a lot of bootlegs out there...

Igspgm.com for scans, but really not come across any bootlegs in the sense of converting one game to another…
The bootlegs that are often discussed are generally hacks of Knights of Valour with new characters etc.
The exceptions are the Cave titles which aren’t even available as carts in the first place.

What I've seen in a short search is a lot of carts with flash memory where I would expect an EPROM (shrug). I may just be delving into the shadier sides of the interwebs.

Think you'll come across all sorts of weirdness with PGM titles..

Could very well be that what I was seeing was what was expected, which is way I was looking for some pictures to compare things to. I'd already found the site you linked to, but I appreciate it none the less.

Any chance you have a Demon Front cart for sale (or any other titles you consider must haves)?

@twistedsymphony has your must-haves covered here.
Ask @sheep_nova what he has in stock.
I have bought from this store before - good for some cheap titles. Also worth asking if they have anything else available.

The 'Plus' titles are generally the last in each series. I usually pick those over the originals as I don't need every KOV variant.
KOV -> KOV Plus
KOV Superheroes -> KOV Superheroes Plus
KOV 2 -> KOV 2 Plus: Nine Dragons
OL -> OL Special -> OL Special Plus
Killing Blade Plus etc.
Worth noting, many can be updated/translated with a ROM swap.

Been tracking that seller on aliexpress, unfortunately they don't have Demon Front currently and the sellers that do have no feedback. Ah well, no rush on it.

  • The Gladiator (Road of the Sword) is a must-have for me. Fantastic pixel art beat ‘em up
  • Killing Blade if you like janky 2D fighters
  • Martial Masters if you like beautiful 2D fighters.
  • The three Cave shooters. There are conversions but I would recommend building a set of reproduction cartridges using @Fluffy fantastic design. @GC8TECH also builds these.

As weird as it is, I'm avoiding the cave shooters because of the whole vertical orientation thing. Well avoid is the wrong word. I'm not seeking them out.
